(More customer reviews)I just received this item from Amazon and wanted to give my initial impression. I bought a set of Emeril cookware from BBB over 2 years ago. It has stood up very well and I have been very pleased. So much so I wanted to expand my collection. This piece arrived and almost immediately upon opening it I realized it was not of the same quality as my existing pieces. The metal is noticeably thinner. The lip gave it away for me. I felt along the lip and realized it was rolled over to give it the appearance of being thicker. None of my existing pieces are rolled like this. Holding it along side an older 3Qt piece I can tell it is lighter. I just fear that like many products that were once of very high quality, corners may have been cut to increase profits. Can't blame them, but buyer beware - ymmv.
I must state that I haven't yet cooked with it or cleaned it. I hope to revisit this review once I have done so.
