(More customer reviews)I got this set for Christmas last year and have used them heavily. I replaced a set of Wearever that I bought from a friend who was selling them door-to-door in the 1960's. They were heavy aluminum lined with stainless and wonderful to cook with, but they were showing their age and my new kitchen needed something really good looking on the stove in the island. These cook as well or better than my old pans. They are identical in cooking characteristics to the two pieces of AllClad with copper that I also have. And, they are drop dead beautiful! They still look new after a year of heavy use; the insides polish up nicely with Bar Keepers Friend.
